We collect: (a) Information you provide: name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, photos, profile details, religious information, preferences, and identity documents. (b) Automatically collected data: IP address, device information, usage analytics, and cookies. (c) Third-party data: information from Google or Apple if you use social login.
We use your data to: create and manage your account, provide matchmaking services, process payments, verify identities, communicate with you, improve our services, ensure platform safety, comply with legal obligations, and send marketing communications (with your consent).
Your data is stored on encrypted servers. We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, and secure API communications. Despite our best efforts, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, data portability (export your data), object to processing, and withdraw consent. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes). Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
FindYourNikkah processes sensitive data including religious beliefs, ethnic origin, and identity documents. This data is processed with your explicit consent for the specific purpose of providing matchmaking services aligned with Islamic values. You can withdraw consent at any time.
FindYourNikkah is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
